This policy explains what personal information Timz Trimz (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website to book appointments or manage your account, why we collect it, and your rights over it. We are the data controller for that information.

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address, phone number and (optionally) date of birth.
• Booking information — the services you book, dates and times, notes you add, and any reference photo you choose to attach.
• Photos you submit — if you upload a photo of your cut, it’s stored so the barber can review and (with approval) feature it.
• Basic technical data — a secure sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, and limited logs needed to keep the site running and secure.

We do not take payments online — you pay in store — so we never collect or store your card details.

Why we use it

• To take and manage your bookings and send you confirmations and reminders about them.
• To keep a history of your visits so the barber can give you a better service.
• To send you offers, news and review requests only if you’ve opted in — you can opt out any time in your account or via the link in any such email.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your data. We share it only with the services that run this site on our behalf — our hosting provider and our email-delivery provider (used to send booking and account emails). They process it only on our instructions. We may disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and booking history while your account is active so we can serve you. If you’d like your account and personal data deleted, just ask (see below) and we’ll remove it, except where we’re required to keep limited records by law.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to stop marketing emails, at any time. You can update most details yourself in your account. To make a request, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you securely signed in. We don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
